Sarah Palin and Joe Biden – Who Won the Debate?

October 2nd, 2008 · 1 Comment

Who won the Palin Biden debate tonight on October 2? That question is really up to you to decide despite what the pundits are saying!  Sarah Palin and Joe Biden are the vice presidential candidates for the 2008 election year. Sarah Palin is the first woman ever nominated to run for vice president on the Republican ticket. She has already made history and stands on the threshold of another historic moment. Should the Republican Party win the election, Sarah Palin will become the first woman to be elected vice president in America’s history. Each party brings something historic to the table this year – the Republicans with the vice presidential nominee and the Democrats with the presidential nominee. Fox news polls had Palin winning the debate by a landslide.

While the main focus is on John McCain and Barack Obama, Sarah Palin and Joe Biden play an important role. Should anything happen to the president, one or the other of these two will have to step up into the role of president. Part of the debate in America involves deciding which candidate is most qualified to take that role. Sarah Palin is a newcomer to the world of national politics, and while Joe Biden may bring a little more experience in international politics, Palin brings her own special traits. Sarah Palin has experience in a leadership role – first as mayor of her hometown, then as governor of the state of Alaska. Both of these roles placed her in a leadership role.

Sarah Palin and Joe Biden have as much influence on the way the 2008 election turns out as does McCain and Obama. Many people have accused McCain of pulling Palin out of a hat in an attempt to take the spotlight off of the Democratic Party, who, before the choice of Palin, would have been the only party to make history in this election. Now, both parties stand to make history – either the first woman vice president or the first African American president.

But the only way you can be a part of this historic event is to go out to the polls on Election Day and vote. Voting is your responsibility as well as a privilege. Your responsibility is to choose between McCain and Obama keeping in mind that should anything happen to either of these candidates, the choice is then who you want to be in place to step up between Sarah Palin and Joe Biden. The best way to make your decision is to be informed – don’t just take the media’s word. Do your own research and make an informed decision. Never has this decision been more important to the people of the United States.

[...] in those interviews, no one would have been nearly as hard on them.  Think of the debate between Sarah Palin and Joe Biden.  Sarah had to be very careful with every gesture and facial expression.  Meanwhile, Joe Biden [...]
